Robbie Savage
Savage made his debut for the Welsh national team in the year 1995 and went on to make 9 appearances for his country in an international career spanning for ten years. He was very much part of Wales side that nearly qualified for Euro 2004 and defeated Italy at the Millennium Stadium. He started his career playing at Crewe Alexandra before moving on to play for Leicester City, Birmingham City and then Blackburn Rovers.
Emile Heskey
Heskey spent over five years playing for Leicester city FC and established himself as one of the most powerful players in the English game. He was prolific in front of goal for Leicester and he became a regular member of the England squad thanks to his great play. He won the league cup with the club in 1997 and 2000 and moved to Liverpool in March 2000 for £11 million. He later on enjoyed a spell playing for Birmingham City and is now currently at Wigan Athletic FC.
Muzzy Izzet
Izzet spent eight blistering years playing for Leicester City FC, between 1996 and 2004 and certainly did not disappoint at the club. He started off his career with Chelsea before moving to Leicester in 1996 and went on to establish himself in the starting line up and make over 300 appearances for the club, winning the league cup in 1997 and 2000. He is considered by many to be one of the clubs finest ever players in their history. He signed for Birmingham City in the summer of 2004 and has also played his international football for Turkey.
Stern John
John was born in Trinidad and Tobago and started his professional playing career in the Major soccer league of America in 1995. He moved to England in 1999 as he signed for Nottingham Forest. After a three year period at Nottingham, he moved on to play for Birmingham city and helped the club gain promotion in to the premiership or the 2002 – 2003 season. In September 2004, he signed for Coventry City and has now made over 75 appearances at the club and is a key figure in the Coventry team. He is also a very experienced international player, having played for Trinidad and Tobago over 100 times, scoring 68 goals. |
