Ian Handysides

Handysides joined Birmingham City in 1979 after leaving school and made his first team debut in 1982. He established himself in the starting line up before moving on to play for Walsall in 1984, soon establishing himself in the side. He returned to Birmingham City shortly after and was once again a main feature in the side. He was outstanding for the clue during the 1987 – 1988 campaign as helped the club avoid relegation with his consistent performances.
